Saturday 2nd October 1999

18h00 The meeting wa continued at Sebastian Schlotter house.

Mrs. Sanchez reminded all the colleagues that the annual project report must be handed in to the national Agencies before the end of February and that the whole project will end on 28th February 2002.

Mr. Schlotter suggested producing indvidual reports in each country and updating them via Internet. Each country will send its own report to its national Agency and to the school co-ordinator of the project in Marseille. Here a final report will be drafted summarising the reports from the different countries. Mr. Schlotter suggested synchronising the reports, as the German school has to hand theirs in in August and not in February. Mrs. Sanchez promised she would enquire about this.

All the teachers agreed on the location of the next meeting, which will take place in Udine, Italy, in February 2000. Two other meetings will be held, one in September 2000 and another in February 2001.

Mr. Bandiziol asked how much the school must collaborate and it was decided that all the schools can work independently and that the level of co-operation will be established according to the different requirements.

The school in Oulx will deal mainly with the environmental and geographical aspects of the project, whilst Marseille, Frankfurt and Udine will deal with technical problems. Pombal will be involved in both aspects.

At the end of the meeting it was established that all the schools would send their links to Mr. Gylseth who wpimdproceed to their connection. Word 97 and Excel 97 will be used for texts and calculations.

The meeting was officially closed at 19.30, just in time to taste the wonderful soup from Provence and the Knödel from Germany!
